Effective date: June 25, 2026.

1. Our Privacy Principle

Our products are designed to help users reconnect with personal memories through time and place. We treat privacy as part of the product experience. We do NOT upload original photos.

2. Information We Process

We only process limited metadata needed to provide memory recall features. This may include:

  • timestamp, such as the date or time associated with a photo or memory item.
  • location (if available) and if the user has granted the relevant permission.
  • device local asset id, used to match memory records with photos stored on the user's device.

3. Original Photos

We do NOT upload original photos to our servers. Original photos remain on the user's device or in the user's own photo storage environment. Our systems are built around metadata and product functionality, not cloud photo storage.

4. How We Use Data

We use the limited metadata described above for product functionality, including:

  • Memory grouping.
  • Memory feed generation.
  • Explore suggestions that help users revisit forgotten moments.

We do not use this information to build a public social profile or a general advertising profile.

5. No Selling of Data

We do not sell user data.

6. Third-party Sharing

We do not share user data with third parties except where required for infrastructure, hosting, security, maintenance, analytics necessary to operate the product, legal compliance, or other services needed to provide and protect the product. Such providers may process information only for the purposes of supporting our services.

7. Data Retention

Metadata is stored only for product functionality. We retain it for as long as needed to provide memory grouping, memory feed generation, explore suggestions, support, security, legal compliance, and service maintenance. When data is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete or anonymize it where reasonably possible.

8. User Choices and Rights

Users may contact us to request deletion of their data or to ask privacy questions. To make a deletion request, email us at memoagain@truveltang.com. We may need enough information to verify and locate the relevant product records before processing the request.

9. Permissions

Some features may require access to photo metadata or location information. Users can manage app permissions through their device settings. If permission is denied or unavailable, some memory recall features may be limited.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited metadata processed by our products. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to reduce risk and limit the data we process.

11. Children's Privacy

Our products are not intended for children where parental consent is required by applicable law. If we learn that we have processed information from a child without required consent, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
